THE HEADQUARTERS PACK
G08_1C5. 155 x 50mm.
.
This paper is Pot & Pan's best seller.. They originally manufactured
the pack in 1982/3 for a shop in South Cowley Street, Edindurgh featuring
a map of the Royal Mile on the reverse. Sadly, the shop closed
- went to Portugal, I believe - so Pot & Pan Unlimited took care
of the marketing. As the market for this popular paper was way outside
Edinburgh, it was decided that the map was no longer relevant.
The front of the Cosmic pack (G08_1C4)
was printed on the back instead.
.
Similar in design to G08_1C1, the filter
tips in this packet feature a very saucy cartoon strip showing a young
WPC taking her kit off. The Arcadia Bell Collection has been accused of
being sexist - and other worse things - for featuring this cartoon but
it is the only cartoon we have on a packet of papers. Should we come
across any others, we will gladly show them - politically correct or not!
